I Have Just The Gift For You - Foreword
We are all that finds its life in the sunset: endings and beginnings, past and potential, power and peace. - Lee Hoedl
Sunsets are some of the most powerful moments in my life. They are the process of surrender at the end of either a peaceful or hectic day, knowing there will be another day to follow. They are that momentary lull when the world, including Nature, turns to the final daylight's rays and reflects and celebrates on the moments of the day. They are God's greatest gift and reminder to humanity that beyond life's endings are new beginnings; that although shaped by our past, we are equally empowered by our potential; that life's experience is to be a gentle balance of powerful and peaceful moments.
POWER AND PEACE
A humble word of gratitude to my family and especially my parents, Mable and Leo, who have been the greatest teachers of the power and peace of love in my life. It is of them from which this book draws its inspiration. And a special thanks to my mother Leone for her unknowing guidance and wisdom in completing this work. Finally, a word of gratitude to my sisters Cheryl and Patty and brother Dan who have been wonderful teachers and classmates along my journey as well.
PAST AND POTENTIAL
Heart-felt thanksgiving to my wife Di and children Leo, Emily, Hannah and Nicholas who lovingly understand my past and support my potential. They have been and remain my greatest sources of laughter, love and learning.
ENDINGS AND BEGINNINGS
A special word of praise to the many lives and friendships that have been with me through all of my endings and beginnings.
And a final and most needed word of praise to the Author of all my endings and beginnings, the Creator of all potential, power and peace.
