1.
What made you decide to run the Wild Miles Relay?
And if you're returning, what made you want to return?
I
am returning to the Wild Miles Relay, because its
an awesome experience, being jammed in the back
of a van with other runners, driving around lost
and in the dark with people that like the same thing.
Life is short and you only get so many opportunities
to do a few things that not everyone can claim they
have attended.
2. Tell us a little about you.
I
have been in the Marine Corps for 14 years and prior
to that I spent 6 years in the Nebraska National
Guard. By the time we run I will be a happily married
man.
3. What motivates you as a runner?
I
run for those who can't be there running with me.
Jack Bingham say we are either running from or to
something, or we are right where we want to be.
I would say I am right now still running from things
but soon I hope to be running to where I want to
be.
4. What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I
like running, being with family, eating (I like
that one too much), Playstation 2, the ocean, boxing,
and surfing the Internet for knowledge.
5. What do you hope to get out of the Wild
Miles Relay?
It's
not about the run. I get to reunite with old friends
and make new ones. Me and Housch will be together
for our third relay. (2003 Hawaiian Perimeter Run,
2006 Wild Miles Relay).
